Faculty Associates for the Arts and Sciences Learning Community
Faculty Associates are faculty members within the College of Arts and Sciences who have agreed to be resource persons for freshmen in the Arts and Sciences Learning Community. If you are considering a particular major, and would like to know more about it, or what different areas of study are available within that major, we encourage you to contact the Faculty Associate for the particular major you are considering. If you would like information about a particular class in a department, or are interested in learning about career options of various majors, Faculty Associates are available to provide information for you. You may contact them by phone or email, or by stopping by their office during their office hours. Their contact information is provided on this webpage. When you click on the link for the department you are interested in, it will list the faculty associate(s) for that department. When you click on the individual's name, it will connect you to their departmental webpage that lists their phone and email, and often a photo and description of the courses they teach. The Faculty Associates are not intended to replace your advisor, but are intended to provide additional information about the different majors and minors available within the College of Arts and Sciences.
